About Me:
Some friends and I are creating alliances with other organizations that are working to support necessary change. We are creating circles and programming to support people to Be The Change that is necessary. For more information about this, see our temporaty web site at: http://www.bethechangeearthalliance.org/. We began our program with a Symposium, March 29, 2008, with another Symposium on April 20, 2008, June 19 and June 28 in Vancouver, and June 12 in Delta, B.C. The formation of Circles for onging support has begun. For more details and upcomign dates, see the website.
As communcation and travel methods develop and the World “gets smaller” it is more essential than ever that we all work together in a spirit of cooperation for our mutual benefit. We can no longer pretend that what we do doesn't impact others, including plants, animals, and all the earth.

A friend and teacher, Bruce Sanguin, has written an excellent book called “Darwin, Divinity and the Dance of the Cosmos”. and has just had his second book published: The Emerging Church: A Model for Change and a Map for Renewal. His website is: http://www.brucesanguin.com/
I have been exploring a path of personal and spiritual development for 20 years. I am curious and value learning, and at that time I was desperate, and began to study, practice and experience as many different modalities as I could. Since no one path or modality was sufficient for me I developed an eclectic/holistic approach, which I would now call an Integral approach. I first read KW's “No Boundary” in 1989 and it made sense to me. I have since followed his progress and have particularly appreciated the development through his stages.
I like the freedom that the AQAL structure affords me. I find it provides a framework that gives me a ground to gain perspective in thinking and talking about a variety of topics. I am most interested in human development and Integral Psychology and Integral Spirituality.
However I find it a great structure to pursue my interests in ecological and Social Justice issues.
I was trained and practiced as a lawyer for many years and have a passionate interest in justice. I like the definition of Justice that I have heard from Matthew Fox; that justice and sustainability are the same. For there to be justice it must be sustainable and if it's not sustainable it's not just.
This fits with my interest in social justice, in that suppression of individuals and groups is not sustainable, and with my interest in environmental issues as we cannot continue to use up our resources at the rates we are.
I am new to the idea of internet intentional communities and I am just getting a sense of the possibilities. I would like to write more however I am currently choosing to spend most of my time in direct contact with people; friends, clients, groups and audiences.
